Lanzada is a small but charming village located in Valmalenco, in the province of Sondrio. It can be easily reached by car, train, or plane.
From Milan
Take the A4 motorway towards Turin, exit at Sesto San Giovanni, and follow signs for Lecco.
From Lecco, take the SS36 towards Colico, then continue on the SS38 to Sondrio.
From Sondrio, follow the SP3 and reach Lanzada in about 15–20 minutes.
Total travel time: approximately 2.5 hours.
From Bergamo
Take the A4 motorway to Milan and follow the route above,
or take the SS42 to Morbegno, then the SS38 to Sondrio, and finally the SP3 to Lanzada.
Total travel time: approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
From Como
Take the SS340 north along Lake Como until you reach the SS36 (Strada Statale 36 del Lago di Como e dello Spluga) towards Lecco.
Take the SS36dir towards Colico/Sondrio and continue on the SP3 to Lanzada.
Total travel time: approximately 2 hours.
From Switzerland via Tirano
Follow the SS38 to Sondrio, then the SP3 to Lanzada.
Travel time: approximately 40 minutes.
The train is a convenient option if you prefer not to drive.
From Sondrio station, take the bus to Lanzada from the station square (approx. 30 minutes).
Alternatively, you can reach Lanzada by private taxi (preferential rates with Valmalenco Taxi – +39 339 2819731) in about 20 minutes.
Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP)
After landing, reach Milano Centrale station, take the train to Sondrio (approx. 2 hours), then bus to Lanzada (30 min).
Alternatively, take a private taxi (Valmalenco Taxi) or rent a car (approx. 2 hours 15 min to Lanzada).
Milan-Linate Airport (LIN)
Reach Milano Centrale station, train to Sondrio (approx. 2 hours), then bus to Lanzada (30 min).

Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport (BGY)
Take the shuttle bus to Bergamo station, then train to Sondrio, and finally the bus to Lanzada.
